Could you tell me a little bit about what it was like after the incident? Personally, when people were brought in, what the hospital staff went through that day?

...I can try. It was...

...well, it was as bad as anything could be. There were practically no beds. Hundreds of people came in. We were overwhelmed the first day trying to make sure everyone was where they needed to be. Some had to be sent to another facility, a more intensive-care one, because we couldn't handle them all.

I can;t really describe it as anything less that a chaotic nightmare. I don't think I slept for a week.

Were you the ones who diagnosed it as DPD? How did you even determine that, before we even woke up?
